Andrew and Anna Gorski
Location: Poznan, Poland
Timeline: On-going
Status: Currently operating
Topics: Discipleship, Leadership Development, Evangelism, Gospel Joy
Need
Poland is predominantly Roman Catholic (95%) and Evangelicals are often viewed as a cult. The Post-Communist culture in Poland contributes to suspicion of those outside the Roman Catholic Church. Evangelical churches are needed to equip, encourage and disciple believers. They also need to have a quality study tool available to them in their language, so they can learn to “feed” themselves from God’s Word and be encouraged to share Christ with others, even though this requires unique creativity, persistence and boldness.
Description
Andrew and Anna Gorski are a passionate, Christ centered and energetic couple whom God has called to serve young seekers and new believers who come to Christ mainly through Gospel Joy ministry. They live in Poznan, Poland and have two children, Piotr (4) and Jagoda (2)
Andrew
Andrew came to know Jesus personally when he lived in the US (Boston, MA) in 1998. He finished law school but never was able to work as a lawyer, spending his first career years as sales manager in a multinational company in Poland. In 2003 God has called him to lead Pro Novis Foundation, non-for-profit Christian Foundation that uses Gospel Music to reach kids, youth and adults in Poland with the message of salvation by grace. Under his leadership Gospel Joy has grown and now annually reaches around 50,000 people with the Good News using events like bible studies, camps, gospel music workshops (in 11 Polish cities), concerts around Poland, trainings for leaders etc. He strongly believes that impacting young generation will change Poland and that’s where you can find his heart and efforts.

Anna
After God has rescued her from difficult and painful childhood she’s very passionate about following Christ and sharing Him with others. God saved her at a bible study, which was a follow up after Gospel Joy workshops in 2005. There, she met Andrew, who is now her husband. Anna enjoys evangelizing and discipling young Polish girls and women (mostly coming from Gospel Joy outreaches). She wholeheartedly supports Andrew in Gospel Joy ministry, being mostly involved in bible studies for seekers.

The Gospel Joy Workshops are an opportunity for concert halls full of people to hear the Gospel and experience its joy.
