The Need
ITMI serves and empowers sincere, godly nationals who are working faithfully in their communities and countries to spread the gospel and advance God’s kingdom. ITMI supports and empowers them to enhance their ministries by connecting them with resources in the United States. Many times, ITMI can exponentially increase the impact for Christ that a national believer can make with simple resources that are easy for a US citizen to provide. As Director, Steve enables ITMI to do what it does.
Description
As ITMI’s Director, Steve directs the organization that for some, is their lifeline. He spends his time serving and empowering ITMI partners, using his experience in business, sales and photography. Steve travels to visit, encourage and support ITMI nationals annually, then returns to the US to tell their stories.
Steve empowers ITMI partner, Paul’s ministry of discipling local Indian pastors by speaking at a pastor’s conference in southern India as Paul translates. While Paul is capable of speaking and training himself, an American speaker bolsters credibility.
Steve develops relationships with people that ITMI partners minister to and enhances their connection with the ITMI partner. Here he prays for a couple of Indian women.

History
In the middle of his successful sales career, during which he served on ITMI’s Board of Directors for 12 years, Steve accepted God’s call to be ITMI’s Director in 2001. Since that time, God has blessed ITMI with increased ability to serve nationals.
