A great (first) six monthsJim LaRose, ITMI’s newest teacher–appointee to work with Rev. Piotr Zaremba has completed his first six months in Poznan. He has been involved in a wide variety of evangelistic outreach including Good News Club meetings, teaching English to Polish students (11 lessons weekly), tutoring American missionary children three mornings a week in the basics (reading, writing, science and math) and preparing for this summer’s English Language Evangelism camp. During the brief summer school–break he jetted back to his hometown in Washington State where he was virtually sleepless in Seattle. Working night and day he organized a cargo container for shipment of 12 pallets (each stacked 4–feet high) with school supplies for Poland. The inventory included 6,000 books, teaching aids, school and camp equipment, plus donated items useful in his overseas work. Somehow in the maze of his first six months he managed to battle the bureaucracy and acquire his Polish Residency Card – “Don’t leave home without it.”
