Poland In Touch

The translation of the Bible from Greek and Hebrew into Polish continues on schedule. ITMI’s Rev. Piotr Zaremba has completed over 20 books in the New Testament and plans to have the entire NT completed by the end of this year. The Gospel of Mark and John have already been printed and widely circulated.

The Old Testament team has finished the Pentateuch plus Joshua and Judges. Piotr writes, “This is not exclusively our job. Your name should and will be mentioned upon the conclusion of the translation, because it is genuinely our common task. We give the Bible for Revival.” He concludes by saying, “With every single new birth by the Spirit we transform this society.”

There’s no stopping (and who would want to?) the Nungessers. These energetic kids continue to amaze us. Rich is honing his gift of preaching. Last month he spoke to over 1,200 students in four schools. Their Bread of Life ministry continues and has spread now to the city of Kalisz. He and Brooke did a drama. She wrote, “It was a huge hit! It was entitled ‘McLife’ and the crowd was roaring” – in response.

Some friends gave personal money for furniture and Brook writes, “We finally have a bed! We have slept on couches or on the floor for the past two years. A mattress is an amazing and very comfortable thing! We praise the Lord for our rested backs and bodies!”

Funds have come in now for a car. This will be a tremendous asset especially during the coming Polish winter, and a growing Bread of Life ministry.
