First Letter From Mateusz!

Beloved in Christ,

I am excited to share with you that In Touch Mission International has accepted me as their newest National Missionary in Poznań, Poland. I am grateful to God that He has allowed me to serve with Bread of Life Ministries. I’m aware that Poland is a very religious country, but one of the most godless countries in the world. This insight is motivating me to work serving my people, especially the drug addicts and homeless. I once was as they are before I met Christ.

I work as a missionary for Bread of Life Ministries in Poznań, Poland. This is a very difficult job as I share the Good News of Jesus and make disciples of my Nation, Poland. Bread of Life Ministries works with homeless and drug and alcohol addicts. This work is extremely challenging because of the number of homeless and the excessive abuse of drugs and alcohol. The homeless and addicts are a very complicated category. I’ve been in touch with young and old, men and women, junkies and non-junkies also people with mental problems; it’s not easy work, but Jesus also died for all of them. The brightest events are when you can see the fruits of their changed lives.

My duties are to seek the “lost” and make disciples by sharing Christ, hope, and encouragement. I am on the front lines helping to transform their lives in Christ while they become productive Polish citizens. I do this two different ways; meeting them where they are through street evangelism and weekly activities at church. I walk the streets and train stations looking for the lost and giving them my hand in help and inviting them to Bread of Life activities. I lead weekly Bible studies, assisting in placing them in drug and alcohol treatment centers, helping them find housing and shelter, finding employment, advancing their education, arranging donations such as food, clothing, medicines, and materials. Bread of Life Ministries is also able to help contribute and work with numerous organizations, the city governments and various churches in Poland.

For me to continue in this ministry, I need to ask you for your prayer, encouragement and financial support. Intercession from believers and the army of the Lord of Hosts is an important foundation needed for an effective ministry. Please consider helping to support me financially. My wife and I need $1200 a month. Included in this support will be our health insurance, taxes, rent, furthering my education for a more effective ministry, transportation and ministry costs.

I have put everything into the Lord’s hands. Please prayerfully consider supporting me as I work for Bread of Life Ministries reaching the homeless for Christ in Poland. I’ll be praying that you join me as we advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
