Zaremba back from Summer StormsBeloved in Christ, I am back from the ”Summer storms”. One was about Judean Desert Greek Manuscript translation (called 8HevXIIgr), second the Gospel of Luke literary translation, the third about Summer evangelism, the forth about how to make the most of our workday in ITMI European Ministry. Then we were given an opportunity to sails for two weeks through the silent waters of our family holidays. I am back to communicate the great news of what happened — one at a time. First is concerning Judean Desert Greek Manuscript translation. The manuscript contains fragments of the Minor Prophets. One of the reasons we translated this manuscript to Polish has to do with a sort of skepticism toward the reliability of the Biblical texts in our post-communist, post-Roman Catholic society. Generally speaking Catholics consider Bible to be authored by mere men. Their work was reckoned sacred much later, again by mere men. So the Biblical texts, as human art artifacts, have no morally binding authority, as ”the Dead Sea and the Judean Desert Scrolls prove”. Our translation, which is the first one ever done to Polish, will help those who search for truth draw conclusions for themselves. At this time we are preparing the manuscript for publication. Yours, for His forever
