Gospel Workshops in Poznan

Note from the Mission Administrator:

One of the exciting outreaches of Pro Novis is their Gospel choirs. Gospel music is very popular in Poland and Pro Novis has developed an outreach to folks who wish to learn to sing this style of music. The staff and volunteers provide vocal training and performance opportunities for Polish people who register to join one of their choirs. Andrew Gorski, the Director of Pro Novis who is under the direction of Piotr Zaremba, recruits godly, Christian musicians to teach the lessons and direct the choirs. They also bring guest speakers to address the choirs and share testimony as well as the meaning of the songs. This is a special way that Polish Christians are reaching out to non-Christians in the community. Below is an update we received on November 18, 2004 from Pro Novis's Director.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

This week, we started our Gospel Choir outreach for this Fall and God provided us with almost 300 participants !!!!

I have attached a few photos to give you an idea how the orientation and first lesson looked.

Please pray with us that God would touch the participants' hearts with His Word and love. We have invited our pastor to speak for few minutes about the meaning of few of the choir's songs at tonight's rehearsal.
