Winning the War on TerrorismAfter the cowardly sneak attacks on 9/11, President George W. Bush, backed by the Congress of the United States of America, declared War on Terrorism. “We will fight them on many fronts,” Bush declared. The theater of operations include economic: we will deprive them of funds; diplomatic: we will disown their friends; intelligence: we will deny them facts; and military: we will destroy their forces. Good start. Sounds like war, but is there a missing ingredient in this picture? I believe there is. This current struggle, unlike any America has ever fought, is a spiritual war. We’re not simply up against a uniformed, recognizable enemy. Truly, we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. If we are to win the War on Terror we must increase our efforts to win Muslims for Jesus Christ. Without a change of heart there will be no permanent peace. ITMI’s goal is to “preach Christ” and change hearts.
To win a war we must first identify and expose the enemy, understand his strategy and, whenever possible, forestall his attack by preemptive action. Let us never forget that the radical Islamic forces declared Jihad (holy war) on us and attacked us first. They are convinced that America is the Great Satan and they will curry favor with Allah if they destroy us. We must respect their determination. The Islamofascists* are serious, dangerous and deadly. We ignore these traits to During the Spanish Civil War (1936), General Emilio Mola marched against Madrid with four armed columns of infantry. Asked whether this was sufficient for victory he replied, “There is a fifth column of Franco’s agents and sympathizers within the city.” Today, there is a fifth column of Allah’s agents working inside the USA from New York to California. They are heralds of hate based in mosques built principally with Saudi petrol dollars. That’s the same Saudi Arabia by the way that will not tolerate one single Christian Church anywhere in its kingdom. Recent arrests in Lodi, California raise the question: “What do they teach in these mosques?” According to the New York-based Freedom House, which sent a team of volunteers to visit 15 prominent mosques in as many states from coast to coast collecting over 200 books and publications by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, there are five major points. (1) Reject Christianity as a valid faith. Any non-Muslim is an infidel. (2) Islamic law must be applied. This covers a wide range of issues, from women (who must be veiled) to apostates from Islam (who “should be killed”). Saudi publications insist on full enforcement of Shari’a in America. (3) See non-Muslims as the enemy. (4) See the USA as hostile territory. (5) Prepare for war against the United States: “To be true Muslims, we must prepare and be ready for jihad in Allah’s way.” Understanding the kind of war we’re in demands an uncompromising, unflinching determination to be true to the Truth. Jesus Christ is Truth even in a post-modern world which denies truth’s existence. Truth sets itself against error. Islam = error (Allah is not Jehovah, there is no forgiveness of sin nor is there any promise of salvation in the Koran apart from a vague place in paradise if you die in a Jihad killing infidels).
The question is: Can the two co-exist? The Muslims have given us their answer, which has transformed our differences into a life and death struggle. Which side are you on? As Joshua said, “Choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served [pleasure and materialism] that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites [Humanism], in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15 Meanwhile, let’s keep an eye on Lodi. Bill Bathman – Arizona *Islam + Fascism (fash¢iz am), n. 1. “A governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.” Webster’s Encyclopedic Unabridged Dictionary of the English Language
