Merry Christmas from Alicia

HI Friend!

The end of the year is here and I can hardly believe it! Where in the world did the time go...

This has been a hectic semester in many respects. School work, Stretching (sometimes beyond what I thought I could endure), and what I thank the Lord for most is a deepening in my relationahip with Him. This is my heart cry, that it would continue as I learn to surrender everything to Him. Above all I have been learning to find contentment in Him. This road has been bumpy, but His Grace seems to grow with every day. And I thank Him.

I haven't had a chance to let you know how things have gone with regards to my school fees; Everything has come in - Praise the Lord. I have to admit that there were moments when I struggled to believe that the Lord would provide. I admit this to my shame, and yet He has remained faithful as He has always promised He would. And I hope that you will be encouraged by His faithfullness as well.

As I also said in my last letter to you, I will not be home this Christmas. Instead I will be with a dear family in Iowa who have graciously invited me to their home. Please pray for my family at this time that the Lord will fill their hearts with His joy at this time, especially since it will also be my sisters wedding on the 26th of this month.

School starts up again on the 10th of January. There is much to look forward to in this New Year! I hope that this new year will be filled with much joy and celebration as you continue to walk with our Lord!

Merry Christmas

With Love, In His Grip,

Alicia
