About Bill & Harriett Bathman

Reverend Bill Bathman, Founder of In Touch Mission International, along with his wife Harriett, ministered to persecuted Christians behind the Iron Curtain for nearly 40 years. For 22 years, Bill and Harriett lived in Europe and worked throughout Eastern Europe. Then for many years, from their headquarters in Arizona, USA, they continued to assist suffering churches and awaken Western Christians to the needs of oppressed believers.
Bill distributed New Testaments to Soviet soldiers during the invasion of Czechoslovakia in August 1968 and was preaching in Romania at the time of the Revolution in 1989. He is a sought-after speaker in Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, and throughout Africa. Many Christians attribute the revival in Romania to God’s gracious working through Bill Bathman.
Throughout his decades of intensive missionary activity, Bill has founded three successful missions: NETwork, The Pioneers, and In Touch Mission International. Bill has produced and hosted several thousand radio programs in his daily IN TOUCH series and has been interviewed on Trans World Radio, HCJB, Radio Free Europe, BBC, SABC, ZNBC and many other broadcast and TV stations. As an evangelist, Bill Bathman has traveled to and ministered in more than 100 countries. He has extensive personal experience of evangelism in communist and other restricted-access countries. Bill’s Target Topics series, books, sermons and audio material combine his many years of experiences on the field to provide incisive insight into the issues of today and the days to come.
